Step Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") is a Texas-based company that designs and builds mobile apps for business owners. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, steptechnologies.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us, we use no advertising or analytics tracking, and we never sell your information.

This policy covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement for each engagement.

If you contact us through a form on this site or by email, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, business name, and whatever you tell us about your project or problem. Providing it is your choice; it is the only personal information we set out to collect.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email. We do not store them in a separate database.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and operations: things like IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We do not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or social media pixels on this site.

This site does not set cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

Some pages let you try an app we built, running in your browser against a demonstration account filled with sample data. The demos are read-only: nothing you tap is saved to a real account, and we do not collect personal information about you through them.

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can help;
• communicate with you about a potential or ongoing project;
• operate, secure, and improve this website;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.

We share information only with the service providers that make this website and our communication work - our hosting provider and our email provider - and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a business transfer such as forming or selling the company.

That is the complete list. There are no data brokers involved.

We keep correspondence for as long as it's useful for responding to you, running a potential engagement, or keeping ordinary business records. If you'd like something deleted sooner, ask - see below.

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we'll handle it promptly. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights; we honor reasonable requests regardless of whether a particular statute technically applies to a business of our size.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including serving this site over HTTPS and limiting who can access correspondence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security - but we keep the amount of information we hold deliberately small.

This website is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

This site links to third-party sites such as the App Store. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn't cover them.

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes to how we handle information you've already given us will be communicated to you directly where practical.
